Traffic on the M5 was brought to a standstill after a multi-vehicle crash between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston during the rush hour on Monday evening (February 26).
As pictured here, emergency services stopped traffic in all three lanes of the southbound carriageway between junctions 21 and 22 after the crash.
Two Police cars and an ambulance were sent to the scene of the crash involving up to six vehicles at 4.40pm, as pictured here.
A rolling road block was set up on the M5 southbound, causing long delays of traffic while several damaged vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder. It’s understood there no serious injuries.
