A multi-vehicle crash on the M5 motorway caused delays between Burnham-On-Sea and Weston on Friday afternoon (February 21st).
Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway at around 3.30pm, with two lanes being temporarily closed.
A police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A man in one of the vehicles was treated for chest pains by ambulance crews.”
The incident led to queues of traffic backing up beyond the Burnham junction into the rush hour period.
