Motorists travelling northbound on the M5 motorway are being warned to expect long delays this evening (Bank Holiday Monday) following a crash.
The northbound M5 carriageway was temporarily closed at 5.45pm following an accident involving a car and caravan near the Almondsbury Interchange, as pictured here by the Highways Agency.
Long delays of Bank Holiday traffic have built up, with tailbacks stretching several miles for motorists travelling from the south west towards the Midlands.
