Part of the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea was temporarily closed on Saturday afternoon (April 5th) following a crash.
Two fire fighting appliances were called to a collision on the northbound M5 at 3.35pm after a road traffic collision.
“Upon their arrival, crews found a single road traffic collision between junctions 22 at Burnham and 23 at Dunball. There were no persons trapped and crews made the vehicle safe,” said a spokesman.
Police briefly closed the M5 northbound carriageway until the vehicle was recovered. There were not understood to be any serious injuries.
