This was the scene on the M5 motorway on Friday evening (November 27th) after a car crashed into a central reservation during heavy rain.
Fire and ambulance crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to the southbound carriageway shortly before 6pm after the Vauxhall Astra lost control in slippery driving conditions.
The incident led to delays for motorists travelling south between junction 22 and Burnham and junction 23 at Highbridge.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com one person has been looked over by paramedics at the scene, but there had been no serious injuries.
