Emergency services were called to a three-vehicle accident on the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea this afternoon (Saturday, July 16th).
Two lanes of the northbound carriageway near junction 22 at Burnham were blocked by the crash, which occurred at 12.35pm.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Crews got to work to remove the roof of one vehicle. Six adults and one infant were involved in the incident and fire crews assisted paramedics at the scene.”
“By 1.27pm all casualties were released from the vehicles and in the hands of ambulance crews on the scene.”
