Highbridge-based Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre is holding an open day this Sunday (27th January) for youngsters to get a taste of what activities are on offer.
Free classes in ballet, modern dance, tap dance and street dance for children aged 2 to 8 years will be available between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
Free classes will be running as follows, with visitors welcome to just turn up on the day: 10.30-11.00am ballet 2-4yrs, 11.00-11.30am tap 2-4yrs, 11.30-12.00pm modern 2-4yrs, 12.00-12.30pm ballet 5-8yrs, 12.30-1.00pm tap 5-8yrs, 1.00-1.30pm modern 5-8yrs and 1.30-2.00pm street dance 5-8yrs.
“The dance centre also run classes in drama, singing, musical theatre, Zumba, fitness, boys street dance, jive, wedding dances and dancing parties,” said Lucy.
“This will be a great opportunity for anyone interested in dance to come along and see what’s on offer, there really is something for everyone!”
“Come along to take a tour of the studios, meet the teachers and have great fun trying different types of dance.”
The studios are based at Unit 9 Morland Industrial Park in Morland Road, Highbridge.
