The moment that Burnham-On-Sea Rugby Club player Scott Havercroft scores an incredibly lucky rugby conversion has been captured on video.
Scott’s kick during Saturday’s match for Burnham-On-Sea RFC’s 2nds team saw the ball land directly on top of the far rugby post.
It then bounced down inside the posts to earn two points and was Scott’s fifth of five successful conversions during the game against Wiveliscombe RFC, which Burnham won 35-10.
Simon Havercroft, who watched the game, said it was a memorable moment and added: “It was a great game to watch with class moves from all players.”
