Search group for Ellie, a lost labrador, to meet in Brent Knoll today

-

A meeting is to be held today (Saturday) for those searching for a dog who has been missing for two weeks.

Ellie, a Labrador Retriever, went missing from a house in East Brent on August 29th and has since been seen in East Brent, at the Tesco roundabout in Burnham, and at Highbridge’s Isleport Recycling Centre – but remains missing.

The yellow golden coloured dog is microchipped and has a friendly nature but may be anxious in unfamiliar surroundings as her usual home is Devon.

Her owner, Julia Woodward, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’d welcome help from anyone interested in looking for my lovely golden Labrador Ellie.”

“We are going to plot all the details of the sightings on a map to try and find a pattern of where she has been and could go next.”

The group will be meeting on Saturday (12th September) at Ollies Cafe on the A38 in Bristol Road, Brent Knoll at 2.30pm.

“Ellie is a very friendly dog, although I know she will be very scared. Anyone who sees her should try and get hold of her as we live out of the area and fear we won’t catch her.”

Anyone with information can contact Julia on 07817 441459, mentioning Burnham-On-Sea.com.
