A long-serving member of staff at Burnham-On-Sea’s Tesco store has been presented with flowers and bubbly as she retires.
Jill Atkinson, 75, retired this week after working for 17 years at the supermarket in Burnham’s Ben Travers Way.
“I’ve enjoyed working with some wonderful staff here and met many lovely customers over the years,” she says.
“I have made a lot of friends during my time here and will miss them all.”
She was presented with a bouquet and a bottle of prosecco on her final day by managers at the store, which she said had been “a wonderful surprise.”
