St Andrew’s Church in Burnham-On-Sea will host a concert by local virtuoso musician Richard Lennox this evening (Saturday, July 20th).
Richard is self-taught and has performed in a wide range of cathedrals and concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall.
He is a fast-emerging classical crossover artist, a virtuoso musician who plays everything from Bach to the Beatles, musical theatre to rock and roll and just about everything else in between.
A recording artist and live performer, Richard optimises on his creative juices, bridging the gap between different genres of music, whether it be a rousing pop song or traditional classical arrangements. He merges piano, organ, keyboards, double bass, composing and arranging, all with an infectious enthusiasm.
Alongside Richard will be Fran Bowkett who will sing accompanied by Richard. The cost of the concert is £8.50 and includes interval drinks. Tickets are available at Coffee, Cake & Curtains or on the door on the evening. All funds raised will go towards the work of the church.
