Final chance to vote! Burnham good causes need your support

-

Four good causes in Burnham-On-Sea have been shortlisted for a community fund which could see them receive thousands of pounds in grant cash – and today (Friday) is the final day you can cast your vote!

Burnham’s swimming club, the Burnham Food & Drink Festival, St Andrew’s Parish Church Blagdon, and local charity Heads Up are all in with a chance of receiving up to £3,000 from the community fund, which is overseen by Lloyds Bank.

Members of the public are able to vote for their favourite group online, on Twitter, via text message, or by visiting the Lloyds Bank branch in Burnham-On-Sea’s High Street.

In each community the good cause that receives the most votes will receive a £3,000 award, with the second placed group receiving an award of £2,000, those in third and fourth place receiving £1,000 and £500 respectively.

To vote for your favourite community cause click here and voting is open until the end of today, Friday October 10th.
