A month-long exhibition of artwork by three Burnham-On-Sea artists starts today (Monday) at the town’s Princess Theatre.
Catherine Main, Jane Smith and Lynn Harling are displaying their colourful work in the theatre’s Arts Lounge until Monday 10th July.
“We are three friends who are local residents and share a love of art and painting, and we call ourselves The Little Green Painting Group,” Lynn told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We have been painting together as a group for some time. Whilst we share a love of the natural world, land and sea scapes as our inspiration, our styles are varied and individual.”
“Colour and texture has always featured in our exploration of art mediums, however all three of us have returned to acrylic as our preferred option.”
“Painting together and discovering the fascinating world of art and artists has cemented our friendship and developed a common bond.”
