-

A new indoor play area has been formally opened by Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress this week.

Michael and Maria Clarke cut a ribbon to officially open the Little Bouncers Indoor Play Centre at Unit 2, Monkton House in Walrow Road.

The new centre is aimed at children aged 6 and under, and promotes ‘independent play in a safe, clean and stimulating environment’.

Owner Hayley Diana Azzopardi added: “Three times a week, special classes are provided such as Music, Sensory Play and Glow Play Class, which are led by qualified staff.”

“Little Bouncers also provides a coffee shop style environment, where parents and guardians can enjoy barrista-served coffee, freshly-made food sourced locally from farms and bakeries, plus fresh cakes and treats.”

Little Bouncers will also open their doors every last Sunday of the month to families and children with additional needs. Staff are qualified in many areas to help and assist with children with additional needs and provide support for families.

Little Bouncers has already raised money for charity £250 for The National Autistic Society, £57 for NSPCC, has donated Passes and Mascots to various local charity events. Management at Little Bouncers will also be attending Hyde Parks 10k Race for Life.

Various events are happening throughout the year at Little Bouncers Indoor Play and more information can be found online at www.little-bouncers.co.uk or on Facebook. The next event will be a Frozen Friday themed play event this Friday.
