A day of non-stop fun came to Burnham-On-Sea seafront on Saturday (July 18th) when the town’s Lions Club held its annual Family Fun Day.
The free event was opened by Mayor Derick Cooper on the South Esplanade and included entertainment from six local groups. The fun included a mini roller-coaster, a land train, speedway bikes, fair ground games, face painting, a bicycle museum display, a jujitsu display, a barbecue, raffle and charity stalls.
There was also entertainment from the King Alfred School Band, an African Drum Band, the Wrinkly Wrappers, Dave & Co, King Alfred School Drama Group and the BEES drama group. Proceeds went to charity.
