A morning of carol singing in Burnham-On-Sea raised over £90 for local good causes on Satursday (December 10th).
Burnham Lions organised the event outside the Victoria Hotel, besides the town’s official Christmas tree, with the support of Lions Brass 4 Youth Band and Burnham Panto Society.
“Our collection raised £93, which was a good result given the poor weather,” organiser Andrew Bryant told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Thanks go to everyone who supported us – including the members of Lions Brass 4 Youth Band, the Panto Society, and The Vic.”
Meanwhile, The Lions’ Chrstmas Collection Float was out and about in Highbridge on Friday evening and raised a further £100 for local good causes.
The float is pictured here with Father Christmas and his helper in Morland Road on Friday evening.
