A Burnham-On-Sea pub has formally opened its new £15,000 play area this week.
The Lighthouse Pub in Burnham’s Highbridge Road installed the play equipment over the summer to the delight of young families.
“It’s been a big project for us with the new play equipment providing three slides, ten swings and new climbing areas, plus new wooden garden furniture,” landlord Darren Hodge told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Our customers are delighted with the final result, which is Burnham’s biggest play area.”
“It’s all part of our ongoing work to make the pub as family-friendly as possible.”
“I thank everyone who has been involved in the project – it’s been a real team effort – and extra thanks go to C&H Carpets for supplying the astro turf surface.”
