Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat volunteers to hold fundraising car wash

-

Volunteers at Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station will be holding their annual fundraising car wash this Saturday (29th January) and on Saturday 5th February.

Each car will be carefully soaped using professional car wash chemicals and cleaning materials, before being rinsed to achieve a perfect finish.

Payment will be by donation during the fundraiser, which will be held at the lifeboat station in Pier Street each day from 10am-2pm.

The event will be held as part of the RNLI’s national fundraising day when schools, businesses and families will be holding fundraising events that follow an SOS theme, such as ‘Sizzle our Sausages’ and ‘See Our Stamina’.

Trafalgar Automotive Cleaning Chemicals have stepped in to supply professional cleaning materials for the event.

Lifeboat Operations Manager Ricky Holmes told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are grateful for the support. Anyone attending one of our car wash sessions can be assured of a quality car wash and rinse.”
