Lidl has re-opened its store in Burnham-On-Sea this week following a refurbishment.
The store in Burnham’s Oxford Street was temporarily closed from Saturday 30th October until Monday 8th November while the work was completed.
Upgrades at the store include a fresh new look inside with modern, new point of sale areas and more space at the main entrance plus between the tills for wheelchair users plus updated toilet facilities and new warehouse storage facilities.
Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, Glen Stidever, commented: “We’re pleased to be able to refurbish our Burnham-On-Sea store, so that we may bring the local community an even greater instore shopping experience and provide improved welfare facilities for our employees.”
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding whilst we undertake these improvement works.”
The refurbishment forms part of the company’s ongoing £1.3bn investment across the country during 2021 and 2022.
