Busy week at Burnham-On-Sea Library for National Libraries Week

Burnham-On-Sea Library will mark National Libraraies Week with a live music event and a special visit by an author.

Libraries Week is the annual showcase of all the creative, innovative and diverse activities that UK libraries have to offer. It runs from 9-14 October.

Live music will be held in Burnham-On-Sea library on Saturday October 14th, featuring Moody Will and the Roll, and Sam Patten from 12.15pm-2pm.

Then Barbara Spencer, an award-winning children’s writer, will visit the library in Burnham’s Princess Street at 2pm on Wednesday 11th October.

She will talk about writing for children, changing genres and writing fantasy for adults.

Places will be free but limited so booking is required either in person at the library, by email at bhmlib@somerset.gov.uk or by calling 0300 123 2224 and ask to be put through to Burnham Library.
