Burnham-On-Sea Library and Highbridge Library are both offering free computer courses to help people get online for the first time.
Courses are particularly suited to older learners who have never used the Internet before – but the message is that it’s never too late to learn!
“Experienced staff and volunteers support learners through a series of online courses, from the basics of using a mouse and keyboard, to using email, finding information online, and keeping safe online,” said a spokeswoman.
“If they wish, learners can progress onto a wide range of more advanced courses on topics such as online shopping, banking and socialising.”
Courses at Burnham Library run on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons, and courses at Highbridge Library run on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.
