A two-day book sale raised hundreds of pounds has for Burnham-On-Sea’s branch of the Royal British Legion this week.
Good weather boosted the number of visitors to the annual outdoor book sale, pictured, which was held on Friday (September 26th) and Saturday (September 27th).
“We hope to have raised around £300 from the two days, which we’re very pleased with,” the group’s Vice Chairman, Bob Northcombe, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The group has also appealed for more volunteers to come forward and help sell poppies in Burnham during the run-up to this year’s Remembrance Day service.
