Burnham-On-Sea’s Centre of Somerset Skills and Learning threw open its doors to the public on Wednesday (July 20th) for an open day featuring a wide range of free activities.
The well-attended event at the centre in Princess Street gave visitors a chance to take part in scores of free workshops, including watercolour painting (pictured above) and sequence dancing (right).
The other activities included popular courses, such as sugarcraft and pilates plus new opportunities such as horticulture, mosaic making and nordic walking.
The centre is currently offering a 10% discount for those who enrol on its courses during the open day or before the end of July.
The centre’s full September programme is available now and brochures are available from the Princess Street centre, Burnham Library or online here.
A raffle to win a fruit and vegetable box, sponsored by Cossey produce, during the event was won by Mrs Rowse of Burnham.
