Matthew Gaskell, a leading expert in UK gambling addiction, will visit Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy sixth form later this month to raise awareness of the problems.
Matthew runs the addiction unit for the NHS in Leeds dealing with alcoholics and drug addicts as well as people with anxiety disorders, phobias and depression.
Matthew will be leading workshops with the Year 12 Psychology students in the morning on Friday 24th May.
Head of Sixth Form Jonathan Gaskell said: “It’s great that Matthew is coming down to the school to help our students in psychology.”
