Burnham and Highbridge’s Mayor has made a special visit to the towns’ Air Cadets where he presented them with a new laptop PC purchased with the help of a grant from the Town Council.
Cllr Martin Cox visited the group’s hut in Highbridge Road to present them with the new equipment.
He also spent time chatting with the cadets and finding out more about their activities and said he was impressed with their work.
“I’m very pleased that the new laptop will help the cadets with their training and in simulating flying,” he said.
CI Jeff Jackson commented: “Our old office PC was on its last legs and becoming very temperamental, requiring constant attention. The new laptop is a great asset because we can use it with ease anywhere in the building.”
