Highbridge fundraiser Kev Wills has completed a 268 mile walk over 12 days from Lands End to the town.
Kev, a regular at the Royal Artillery Arms in Highbridge, completed his personal challenge last Thursday when he walked back to a warm welcome from pub management and regulars.
His feat raised £800 to be shared between St Margaret’s Hospice and the RNLI, although he hopes further fundraising may boost the amount to £1,000.
The day ended with further fundraising at an evening party in the pub. Burnham RNLI volunteers also attended a short thank you ceremony when he was presented with a framed photo of a lifeboat.
Kev plans to walk up Snowdonia next year and hopes to scale the heights of Kilimanjaro the following year.
