Residents at a Burnham-On-Sea residential care home had an afternoon to remember when children from a local nursery made a special Easter visit with several Spring lambs.

Children from Burnham-On-Sea’s Playaway Nursery visited the Towans Residential home in Berrow Road.

Jo Boobyer, Towans activity co-ordinator, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Children from the nursery have been coming to visit us for several weeks, and as it is the Easter holiday period we also had a visit from some baby lambs.”

“The children enjoyed feeding the lambs, watched by the residents, and then they had an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny.”

“We ended the afternoon with a story where the residents and children all helped with different props – a great time was had by all!”

“Molly Goodall from Withygrove Farm and Country Bumpkin provided the lambs for us and they were safely tranported to us with the help of Evie Welch and Sarah Jenkins.”
