Members of Berrow’s Kung Fu group Fei Lung Kwan are celebrating this week after winning a number of awards in a grading competition.
The event, held Berrow Primary School last Saturday (November 26th), saw more than 20 senior and junior students from across the UK taking part.
All students passed and there were seven commendations, five of which were from the Berrow class.
The local members who achieved commendations were Harrison Barber, Chloe Reynolds, Sophie Butt, Joe Laoutaris and Beth Anstee.
Patrick Barber, who was the event’s Chief Assessor, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The day was a great success and we were very pleased that many of our local members did so well. Well done to them all.”
The event attracted more than 40 spectators from the different areas.
