All eyes will be on the skies above Burnham-On-Sea beach later this month when the town hosts a special kiting day.
The free event will be held on the sands next to The Pavilion on Saturday September 27th from 2.30pm.
Organiser Gaynor Brown from BOSH Events said: “Burnham-On-Sea can usually be relied on to provide some wind so we thought this might be a suitable activity for the end of the season and one that anyone can take part in.”
“We will have some simple kites available for people to try and some volunteers to give a hand.”
She added: “Some of our local stores in Burnham sell kites including The Pavilion, Hurley’s and The Toy Chest.”
“Come and join in – there’s no charge, it’s just a free fun afternoon in the fresh air doing something you may not have tried before.”
