Tributes paid to Burnham-On-Sea crash victim Keith Randall

-

Tributes have been paid to a Burnham-On-Sea man who has died in a tragic incident.

Keith Randall, 45, was killed when he became trapped under the wheel of a tractor in East Pennard last week.

Keith worked as a depot manager at a plant hire firm and was driving a flat bed lorry that was being helped up a muddy single-track lane by a tractor on the morning of the incident.

Shepton Mallet fire station commander Graham Brown said: “We were called out at 10.30am to a report of a man trapped under a tractor at Stickleball Lane in East Pennard. There had been an incident with an HGV plant hire vehicle and an agricultural tractor on a narrow lane with a steep incline.”

Keith lived in Burnham with his wife Donna and five year-old son. The family issued the following statement this week: “Tragically taken from a loving family on Monday November 18th. He was much loved and will be missed by all who knew him for his kindness, humour and devotion to his family. Love you and miss you always Keith.”

Mr Randall’s funeral will be held at St Andrew’s Church in Burnham on December 4th at 11am. His family have invited donations to Weston Hospice and the air ambulance in place of flowers.
