One of Burnham-On-Sea’s longest running shops is to close at the end of February when its owner retires after 46 years of business.
Keith Cox, 72, told Burnham-On-Sea.com he has “enjoyed every minute” of his time running the electrical store on the High Street.
But he says now is the right time to retire: “Old age is catching up on me and I’m keen to do some home improvements, gardening and travel.”
Mr Cox, who lives in Weston, thanked customers for their support. “I have had many excellent customers over the last 46 years and thank them all. I have enjoyed every minute of running this shop and will certainly miss many people,” he said.
