Highbridge’s King Alfred School has unveiled a smart new uniform for students to wear.
Prefects at The King Alfred School are now wearing the uniforms with a formal tie and blazer.
From next September, the new Year-7s will all asked to wear the outfits, while the rest of the school’s students will have the option to wear it.
Headteacher Denise Hurr told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The uniform looks absolutely tremendous and we are delighted to be able to show it off this year with the prefects.”
The Priory Learning Trust, which made Priory Community School ‘outstanding’ and turned it into one of Britain’s best schools, is supporting King Alfred School.
Executive Principal of The Priory Learning Trust, Neville Coles, added: “High uniform standards are really important in all our schools.”
