-

A pupil who was air-lifted to hospital on Monday (February 6th) after being injured in a sports accident at Highbridge’s King Alfred School is making a good recovery.

A County Council education spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Tuesday: “The extent of his injuries are not life threatening and we expect him back at school by the end of the week.”

The Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance, pictured, was called to the school at around 1.30pm to fly the boy to Weston General Hospital, as reported here, after he suffered leg injuries.
