A woman was taken to hospital and two other people were injured in an accident outside Highbridge’s King Alfred School on Wednesday morning (November 2nd).
Burnham Road was briefly blocked when a Peugeot 206 and a Vauxhall Corsa collided head-on at the junction of North Avenue.
Ambulance spokesman Dave Rogers told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Three people suffered injured injuries. One casualty, a lady, suffered chest and leg injuries and was taken to Weston General Hospital. Two men also suffered leg and shoulder injuries.”
Police spokesman Wayne Baker confirmed: “Police were called to a collision just before 7am and Burnham Road was briefly blocked.”
