Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Karate Club is celebrating after several of their members achieved black belts.
A Black Belt Dan Grading session has been held at the club where juniors Liam Rosser and Harry Chave both achieved their ambition to become 1st Dan Black belts, while Seniors Dan Smith and Andy Constance also progressed further in the Black Belt ranks by reaching their promotion to 3rd Dan.
“They all had to undertake both practical and written assessments in order to assure the panel that they were indeed proficient in the martial art of Wado Ryu Karate,” the club’s Clare Constance told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We congratulate them on this wonderful achievement, they should all be very proud of the time and dedication they have shown to reach this level.”
