An accident at a busy roundabout caused delays for motorists travelling between Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater on Thursday afternoon (June 1st).
Police were called to the collision between a car and a motorbike at junction 23, which caused tailbacks of traffic onto the M5 motoway sliproad.
Police spokesman Scott McPherson told Burnham-on-Sea.com: “We were called at 4.40pm to a collision involving a motobike and a car at the junction 23 roundabout. There were no injuries or arrests and our inquiries are ongoing.”
Meanwhile, fire crews were sent to the Dunball roundabout at Puriton on Thursday afternoon at 1.45pm following a single-vehicle accident. One person was still inside the car and was freed by crews and given medical assistance.
