Several flower beds in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge have been given Royal-themed makeovers in time for this weekend’s Jubilee celebrations.
Funded by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council, the flower beds on the North Esplanade and at the entrance to Highbride’s Apex Park and Jubilee Gardens, as pictured here, have been planted up by Sedgemoor District Council’s Clean Surroundings Team.
“A number of plants were specially selected for their colour in order to spell out the Queen’s initials. There have been lots of positive comments from passers by,” a council spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
