A sponsored walk is being held in Burnham-On-Sea today (Sunday, July 9th) to raise funds for the Children’s Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Mel Bax is organising the ‘Walk For Joe’ in memory of Joe Laoutaris, a 12 year-old who died of cancer in 2015.
This Sunday’s event will see the walkers gathering at Highbridge’s Apex Park Car Park before heading to Brean and back.
The 14 mile walk will start at Apex Park at 10.00am, while the shorter 7-mile walk will start on Brean Beach at 12.30pm.
