A great afternoon of top jazz and swing music will be performed at Burnham-On-Sea’s Jazz In The Park today (Sunday, June 11th).
The annual free event returns to the Manor Gardens with music from several well-established bands between 12pm and 5.15pm.
Mike Murphy, Chairman of the organising group CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society), said: “There will be another great line-up of musicians this year.”
“The day will feature Terry Williams, Ambassadors of Jazz – a renowned seven piece jazz band – joined by Bob Reynolds New Society Jazz Band playing the best of New Orleans jazz. Support will include Colin and Dave, our very own Little Secrets, and starting the day the blues guitar of Jake Beckett.
“It promises to be a cracker with something for everyone.”
Real ale, cider, wine and soft drinks, a burger bar with hot drinks and cakes, ice creams, and a kids zone will also be available plus a bouncy castle and a bumper raffle.
