A jazz club based in the Burnham-On-Sea area will be holding its inaugural annual ball later this month and has chosen to donate all its proceeds to the soldiers’ charity Afghan Heroes.
Jazz band ‘Adrian Cox and his Chosen Six’ will be performing at a black tie ball at the Webbington Hotel on Friday January 14th.
The BD Jazz Club is based in Burnham and meets on the last Friday every month at the Laburnum House Lodge Hotel in West Huntspill where they play traditional and New Orleans style jazz.
Organiser Bob Reynolds said: “The BD Jazz Club is excited about this event and raising money for Afghan Heroes. It should be a fun evening.”
BD Jazz Club is a non-profit making organisation that aims to preserve and promote New Orleans and traditional jazz.
