The band played on, despite stormy weather at a Burnham-On-Sea jazz event on Sunday (July 30th).
High winds and heavy rain hit the area on the day that the Marine Cove Gardens on Burnham’s seafront were due to host an afternoon of outdoor jazz music.
But instead of cancelling the event, jazz band The Burnham Bob Cats simply performed inside St Andrew’s Church nearby instead.
“There was a good atmosphere and the audience enjoyed an afternoon of traditional jazz, organized by The Friends of Marine Cove Gardens,” said a spokeswoman.
