A well-known Burnham-On-Sea charity fundraiser attracted large cheers when he ran through Glastonbury on Tuesday morning (May 22nd) with the Olympic flame.
Jason Vickers, who has run scores of events over the years in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, raising over £11,000 in the process, took part in the latest stage of the torch relay.
Cheered on by large crowds, including supporters and family from Burnham, he jogged the 300 metre leg of the torch relay in dazzling sunshine.
Jason, who works at Tesco’s Burnham store, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been “fantastic and so memorable – a huge honour.”
