A Burnham-On-Sea Tae Kwon-Do instructor has been nominated for the award of Best Fitness Instructor in Somerset.
Jane Lambert, who runs Burnham’s Gemini Tae Kwon-Do group, has made the finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards and needs local people’s votes to win.
Jane told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I am beyond excited to have been nominated for Best Fitness Instructor in this year’s Muddy Stilettos Awards, and to be one of just five finalist is a little bit overwhelming.”
“I absolutely love what I do and am humbled by the recognition and support this nomination has generated.”
“I have been a successful competitor in Tae Kwon-Do for many years, winning multiple national, international and world titles, but to be recognised in the wider scope the the highly competitive fitness industry is a really big deal for me.”
“Win, lose or draw, it has been a great experience and I would definitely wear my Muddy Stilettos with pride!”

Gemini holds classes at King Alfred School in Highbridge on Tuesday and Thursday evenings when men, women and children of all abilities are welcome.
