A seafront cafe in Burnham-On-Sea which was forced to temporarily close following a fire is set to re-open this Saturday (March 31st).
Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported here on Monday how a fire had broken out on the ground floor of Jacks after an electrical fault in a tumble dryer. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
Owner Richard Bamsey told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I am delighted to say that we will be re-opening this Saturday – March 31st – at 10am for business as usual.”
“The fire caused some smoke damage to several areas which we have been busily sorting out over the past few days.”
“I would also like to thank our customers for their continued support and patience this week and look forward to seeing them over the Easter holidays.”
