Burnham-On-Sea Crufts-winning dog to star in national pets diary

-

A painting of a Burnham-On-Sea dog is set to be featured in a 2019 diary sold nationally across the UK.

Border Terrier Sir Jack Spratticus, owned by Burnham resident Ness Holbrow, will be featured in the ‘The Little Dog Laughed’ diary.

Earlier this year, the duo won the Crufts 2018 Friends for Life award, as we reported here.

Ness and her pet have also been short-listed in the Animal Star Awards in the ‘UK Rescue Animal of the Year’ category.

The winners of the Animal Star Awards will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony to be held on Saturday 3rd November in Guildford. The awards give recognition to animals and humans alike for the amazing things that they do for each other.

Ness told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s a huge honour and a lovely surprise to be featured in the diary. It has been a wonderful year.”

More about the diary is available here.
