A car careered into a lampost, bringing down electricity cables in an accident at the Isleport Business Park in Highbridge on Monday afternoon (January 29th).
Burnham-On-Sea police and fire teams were called to the tea-time crash, which closed the busy commuter route through the park.
Amid initial concern that one person was trapped inside, fire crews reached the scene at 4.45pm but were relieved to find no occupants injured. The electricity board isolated the power supply and made it safe.
