Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel Club were feeling in the pink when they held a barbecue in aid of a breast cancer charity on Saturday (September 3rd).
The event, which was held in the gardens of the club’s President, Sandra Moon, saw £200 being raised for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
“The pink theme was carried throughout the afternoon, starting with a pink bubbly drink to set the mood, followed by a barbecue and delicious pink puddings!” Sandra told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Husbands and partners were invited, and came suitably dressed in pink or fancy dress. A great time was had by all. The afternoon also included a raffle where, of course, all the prizes were pink! This was a really fantastic and fun day enabling us to raise £200 for such a worthwhile cause.”
