More than 700 churchgoers from the Midlands are gathered in Burnham-On-Sea this week to take part in a seven-day religious festival.
Five huge marquees have sprouted up on the BASC Ground in Stoddens Road where a series of prayer meetings, gatherings and music events are being held.
The event, called Infuse 2006, runs from August 12th-19th and is now in its fifth year.
It attracts people who have links with Pentecostal Churches across the Midlands to come together to take part in a range of activities, trips and events.
“Burnham is a superb venue for us,” said a spokesman. “We’re always made to feel very welcome here. The area has great beaches and is so close to all of Somerset’s best tourist attractions.”
