Sub-zero temperatures have left their mark on Burnham-On-Sea beach this week.
A long line of ice was washed up along the beach tide line, creating these unusual wintry scenes on Friday (February 6th).
The white slush was left between Burnham and Brean after the early morning high tide.
It comes as temperatures in Burnham-On-Sea dipped to a chilly -4°C on several nights this week as the cold snap continued.
More cold, but sunny, weather is forecast by the Met Office this weekend with temperatures predicted to reach 6°C although the wind chill from the north easterly breezes will make it feel far chillier.
