A long line of ice stretched along the tide line on Burnham’s beach on Sunday (November 28th) as sub-zero temperatures left the area shivering.
The wintry cold snap continued with temperatures falling to -7°c overnight. With the wind chill factored in, forecasters say it felt more like -10°c.
The chilly weather left Burnham beach far quieter than normal on Sunday morning, except for a few hardy fishermen, as pictured here.
More wintry weather is forecast for the Burnham area during the next fortnight, with snow a possibility this coming week.
